About seven years ago, at the point in my life when I was overwhelmed with how much I have to read and learn to keep up with the demands of my job, I found PhotoReading. Among my first thoughts after I learnt how to PhotoRead was "Wow! Wouldn't it be marvelous if I had learnt how to PhotoRead when I was in school?"

So not long after I became certified as one of Southeast Asia's first PhotoReading trainer, I taught The PhotoReading whole mind system to my younger school-going siblings. With an age gap spanning some fifteen years between us, I often "play parent" and mentor to them.

At first, nothing happened. Then one after another, the results started rolling in! It began with my younger sister Zhen Wei. In her desperation of the looming GCE "A" levels examinations, she used the PhotoReading whole mind system and went from grades C-C-D during her preliminary examinations to A-A-B for her 'A' levels in just four months! Now, she is accepted into her dream course in university.

The skills taught in the workshop were very foreign to me and I was very skeptical about it (even though the trainer was my sister!). At first, I was pretty resistant towards the idea of switching to the new skills taught to me. Initially I only put bits of the system to work but did not get much result from it. So, I gave up and did not use the PhotoReading system at all. However, nearing September 2006, just a few months away from my 'A' levels, I decided to give PhotoReading a try again as my old study methods have failed me and I was desperate! Even though I studied very hard for my term examinations, I flunked my Chemistry and had just managed to pass my Mathematics and Economics. This time, I use the entire PhotoReading Whole Mind System on all my subjects and I managed a C-C-D and a C6 for my General Paper (GP) during my prelim examinations. In comparison to my previous grades, I was very encouraged by my progress and continue to trust the system. During the 1 month study break, I went down to the library almost twice a week to PhotoRead other schools' examination papers and past year 'A' level papers (with the answer scheme of course). All these have enhanced my comprehension of the subjects and the memorizing part came naturally and without much effort. I was elated when I received my 'A' levels results! Not only was my grades A-A-B, my GP also jumped 4 grades from C6 to A2! The most amazing thing is that throughout my JC life, I had only been getting Cs and Ds for GP! My grades allowed me to get into my dream course - Communication Studies in NTU - even though hundreds were vying for just 180 spaces! And the best part is that I now find learning so fun and rewarding! I now no longer need to 'drag' myself to study because I find learning such a joy!" Giam Zhen Wei

My twin brothers, Yew Siang and Yew Tong, also applied the PhotoReading system to their studies. From mid-year examinations to GCE "O" levels, Yew Siang accelerated from an aggregate of 25 to 11 points; Yew Tong from 19 to 9 points.

Spurned on by their academic success, I watched in joy as my siblings glow with new confidence and motivation and excel in other areas of their lives.

Now, even though I have been empowering executives with the PhotoReading Whole Mind System for the last three years, and despite repeated calls from clients to start students' classes, I have yet to do so.
